A: The website migration service on offer at VircitHost is totally free of charge and consists of transferring all your files, databases and emails from your present hosting provider to your brand–new web hosting account with us. We’ll also modify all the settings needed for your sites to be completely operational on our avant–garde cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring just about any site. With years of work experience in the industry, they’re experts in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built web application with many custom libraries is as elementary as moving a simple WordPress–based blog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, since there are plenty of factors, among them the physical size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our best to migrate your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (in case the content is not large).

A: We don’t gather any personal information. We will require, though, the login information for your current web hosting account as well as the name of the site that you’d like to migrate.

A: Before we can begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose exactly the same information you have provided to your old hosting provider. A: Nope. Aside from your login info for the Control Panel, we will not require anything. We will never touch base with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source web site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
